For someone who doesn't get a lot of hours at work and who's life revolves around absolutely nothing, I feel like I haven't done anything for two weeks. I've read two books, which to me seems an accomplishment especially since The Picture of Dorian Gray just blew my mind. I feel like I get it, but maybe I'm getting something out of it that's wrong. But it's right to me and that's all I care about.
However, if I were to tell people in response to a question what I've done recently, they'd probably look at me with that horribly annoying expression like they're temporarily confused and blink a lot and go, "oooooh, yeah......" in a condescending tone like that's been a huge waste of time.
I'm rambling and I don't think my Edger Allan Poe long sentences are making any sense. I once called my sentences that and someone said Jane Austen also wrote really long sentences. Perhaps that's where I get it from.
Like I said, I'm not getting any hours at work which is making me really worry about money. I haven't spent any recently except for two dvds, a cd, and a few presents for family/friends. But I still feel like I don't have any! I genuinely hate that feeling. If work doesn't pick up soon, as in, if I don't get my fair share of hours, I'm going to seriously sit AJ down and tell him that I'd like to go to a different department that will actually schedule me to work more than 12 hours a week. Any department because I don't care enough about Home Theater to stay there for zero pay.
In other less complaining news, I so far have kicked fall semesters ass! Three A's baby! Three classes to go, but I already know I got an A in one, so a fancy shmancy GPA hangs on two classes. They really could go either way.
I've also decided to apply for an internship I read about last semester, and if they have any spots open that would be dandy. Added benefit would be that I would have one less class to take.
Today I made chocolate souffle and invited Katy over. We also had coffee and rainbow ice cream. It was a fatty fatty day. But fun because I got to talk to her which is always awesome.
Adam is planning a trip to Ireland. He and this guy Patrick want to first stop in England and then make their way through Scotland to Ireland. I wonder how much it would cost.

"You can have the guts and the courtesy to tell a woman to her face that you no longer want to see her. Call me crazy, but I think you can make a point of ending your relationship in a manner that does not include an email, a doorman or a missing persons report. I think you should all get over your fear of looking like the bad guy and actually have the
"uncomfortable break-up conversation" because avoiding that is what makes you the bad guy. And just so you know, most women aren't angry, irrational psychos. We just want an ending to a relationship that is thoughtful and decent and honors what we had together. So my point, Billy, is this. There is a good way to break-up with someone and it doesn't include a post-it!" -Carrie

I have two 10-page essays, and one 15-page essay due Thursday. I also have one test tomorrow, and one midterm on Thursday. That gives me... 9 hours in the next two days to do it all. Blah.
